"We call it The Valley Co-Op because it’s built on the same principles that define Agricultural cooperatives across our region—shared investment, shared responsibility, and shared success.
Just like farmers join forces to strengthen their harvest, this fund brings together the Red Wave to support our coaches and student-athletes. At Fresno State, we believe this is our team—owned by the Valley, powered by the people, and rising into a new era in the Pac-12.

Rooted in Community, Growing Together: A New Model for Fresno State Athletics
Just as Valley Co-Ops have shaped the agricultural strength of California’s Central Valley—built on trust, shared resources, and community-driven success—Fresno State Athletics is embracing a similar model through coach-controlled giving.
Inspired by the co-op tradition, this approach empowers our coaches with greater control over philanthropic support while ensuring resources are shared across programs to maximize impact. Like the farmers who joined forces to lift each other up, this model strengthens all of Fresno State Athletics by encouraging collaboration, sustainability, and long-term growth.
It’s a modern-day co-op for champions—where every donor helps plant the seeds of success, and every student-athlete shares in the harvest.

College athletics is changing fast. What hasn’t changed is the simple truth: if you want to win, you have to invest in your people.
The Valley Co-Op exists to ensure our coaches have the resources they need to recruit the right student-athletes, develop them to their full potential, and keep them in Fresno, representing this Valley with pride. That means having the tools, facilities, and support systems to compete—not just in the Mountain West, but in the Pac-12.
This fund helps each of our head coaches build their program the right way—through culture, development, and opportunity. Whether it’s new weight room equipment, travel to evaluate a local recruit, or academic resources that keep a student-athlete on track to graduate, every dollar to the Valley Co-Op is a down payment on a stronger future.

Is it necessary to have lettered in a sport to join Club Red?No, membership is open to ALL former Bulldog student-athletes, coaches, and full-time trainers.

What does my Club Red membership support?You have the choice to decide what your membership supports! Choose to support the scholarship fund or a sport-specific Fund for Excellence!

Does any required scholarship contribution for tickets count towards my Club Red membership?Absolutely! Your membership is included if you have a required scholarship contribution for tickets.
