Randy Rigali

Executive Director / Assistant Athletic Director for Development

Randy Rigali joined the Long Beach State ticket office in 2023, where he managed outbound sales and group experience as part of the broader fan experience team within Long Beach State Athletics. He also oversaw strategies for external revenue generation. His Ticket Sales unit generated $1.06 million in athletics ticket revenue for the 2023-24 campaign, marking the first time in school history that LBSU crossed $1 million in ticket sales. Additionally, the Ticket Sales unit set multiple attendance and revenue records across LBSU's seven different ticketed sports.

A veteran in ticket sales and service, Rigali was most recently with the Los Angeles Angels, where he consistently exceeded his sales goals while managing sales and services for premium spaces, suites, season tickets, mini plans, and groups. During the 2022 season, the Los Angeles Angels' sales and service team achieved a record high in revenue. No stranger to the Big West, Rigali previously worked for three years with the UC Irvine Athletic Department. At UC Irvine, he managed ticket sales for the Anteaters with a focus on the Bren Events Center, oversaw operations, led the hiring and training program for all student workers at the Box Office, and managed a $3 million annual budget.

Rigali's additional experience in sales and events includes roles with Azusa Pacific at the college level, as well as with the San Francisco Giants and the United States Soccer Federation. In these roles, he specialized in external events revenue, sponsorships, long-term community partnerships, contracts, and customer retention. Along with the front office sales team, Rigali broke a $102 million-dollar overall ticket sales and revenue goal, achieving record consecutive sell-outs for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. He worked in the San Francisco Giants' front office in 2014 when they became World Champions.

Before his time in the Bay Area, Rigali was a four-year student athlete on the Men's Soccer team at California State University Monterey Bay, where he earned a BA in Communications with a concentration in Journalism, gaining work experience at KSBW Action News and Monterey Herald. Rigali then earned his MA in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco. Randy and his wife, Lorren, have one child named Jude, and they live in Fresno.
