Your Importance

A full scholarship for student-athletes from outside California is more than $21,000 and Fresno State currently has 64 out-of-state student-athletes competing. In 2007/08 an in-state full scholarship is valued at $11,109.

Eighty percent of our 500-plus student-athletes receive scholarship assistance from our donors. Your importance to the success and operation of the Fresno State athletic program is displayed in the pie chart of 2007/08 budgeted athletic department revenue.

Nearly 40 percent of the current year $23-million budget is projected to be funded by Bulldog Foundation donations plus season tickets ($4 million of gate receipts represented by dotted line) processed by the Bulldog Foundation through memberships.
