We will realize a contemporary, broad-based and consistently competitive Division I athletics program. All applicable sports will be ranked among the elite in the nation and in the Western Athletics Conference and participate regularly in NCAA Championships.

We will achieve good standing, dignity and fiscal integrity for Bulldog Athletics while representing California State University, Fresno with pride and honor.

We will recruit, support and lead the most accomplished and promising student-athletes available and create the best overall “student-athlete experience” on the West Coast.

All sport programs will achieve a satisfactory NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) and the department-wide rank will be in the top 50 percentile among all Division I public institutions.

We will operate the athletics department in greater harmony with the institution and work to support the Fresno State missions of constituency access, scholarship, research and service to the community.
